Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg’s Pollinator Pathmaker encompasses a series of living sculptures made of plants, and a participatory campaign. Each sculpture is designed using a custom-build algorithm, which computes garden schemes that support the maximum number of pollinator species possible. The LAS Edition features more than 7,000 plants of 80 different varieties, planted over a 722-square-metre plot. This impactful initiative in interspecies art responds to the alarming decline in pollinating insects, which are vital for many plants to reproduce and ecosystems to survive. The artwork is the first Pollinator Pathmaker Edition in Continental Europe. It is part of a growing global network of gardens, big and small. By making art for pollinators, Ginsberg emphasises the urgency of moving beyond anthropocentric approaches and aesthetics in the face of the climate and biodiversity crises. Produced by Johannes Förster.

This short film showcases the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology's Birdathon/ Bandathon event, where researchers and community members band birds to collect long-term data on migration, population health, and climate change impacts. The Bandathon has taken place since the 1970s at the same location, and while much has changed over the decades, the dedication of researchers and community to protect these beautiful sites has remained. Filmed in the ecologically rich Baraboo Hills, it underscores the unique habitats and bird species found there and the importance of conserving these landscapes for future generations. Produced by Field Notes Productions.

Mates for Life follows two cranes (portrayed by ballet dancers) as they discover each other and become closer, creating a lifetime bond. Their movement is inspired by the whooping crane, 1 of 15 species of crane in the world, and one that in the 1940’s, was nearly extinct. Set in a prairie in the Midwest U.S., we stumble upon the cranes and are able to observe them moving gracefully in their natural habitat. Inspired by nature documentaries and birding, patience pays off as the story unfolds and their movement becomes more and more jaw dropping. This film was created with the intent of inspiring audiences to take action and support conservation efforts of the International Crane Foundation as well as expose them to the art form of ballet. Produced by Big Foot Media.

Increasingly, this technology has become critically important in identifying underperforming acres within farming operations. Pheasants Forever support agricultural producers by assisting them in understanding how their farm specific data can serve as a guide to identifying areas where management changes and conservation programs can improve the profitability of low-yielding areas. Changes that are implemented as a result of this analysis are beneficial for wildlife habitat, building soil health, increasing water quality, and improving sustainability. Tour three Wisconsin farms and their creative us of precision ag to guide on farm conservation. Produced by Archer Films.
